The Socom Elite has earned its reputation through a substantial build, confident handling, and a distinctive profile, while this RAM-LOK version adds a highly versatile, ambidextrous locking mechanism to the proven design. Microtech identifies the RAM-LOK models as its latest manual folders, and the Socom Elite RAM-LOK was officially released as part of that platform in December 2025. The 160RL-1FRTA is built around a 4.00-inch clip point blade crafted from Bohler M390MK stainless steel. M390MK provides the premium edge-retention and corrosion-resistance characteristics expected from a high-performance stainless blade steel, making it well suited to a wide range of everyday cutting applications. The blade features a hollow grind and black finish, giving the Socom a purposeful appearance while maintaining the unmistakable proportions associated with the model. The 3.30-inch cutting edge provides substantial working surface without making the knife excessively large when carried closed. At the heart of this model is Microtech’s RAM-LOK mechanism.
